Pupil Premium

The Government believes that the Pupil Premium, which is additional to main school funding, is the best way to address the current underlying inequalities between children eligible for free school meals (FSM) and their wealthier peers by ensuring that funding to tackle disadvantage reaches the pupils who need it most. There is more information about the Government’s Pupil Premium scheme on the Department for Education website. Each school publishes a statement to report on how much money they received, how they spent it and how effective it has been.

"The funding for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) provides bespoke interventions so that pupils make strong progress. The pupil premium funding is equally well used. Disadvantaged pupils in the school do exceptionally well, often outshining non-disadvantaged pupils nationally." Ofsted 2019
