exceptionally high expectations

"Leaders, managers and governors have built a culture of exceptionally high expectations and no excuses." Ofsted

Governance

We have a range of school governors, with representatives from the parish, the diocese, the local authority and parents. We audit the skills in our governing body to ensure we have a range of expertise. Members of our governing body include teachers at primary and secondary level, lawyers and experts in finance. All are deeply committed to making a difference for our pupils and staff.

We follow a calendar of actions where we ensure our vision and values are embedded into the life of the school. Our decisions are informed by published resources such as Called Connected Committed, guides on ethical leadership and leadership practice descriptors. Senior leaders use the Looking Deeply questions in internal and peer reflection so we stay rooted in our principles.
