Trees for Cities, a charitable organisation that transforms schools and outdoor spaces in inner cities , have been incredibly busy transforming our play-areas. Working with the children, they have installed raised beds and planted a load of shrubs which should soon start bearing fruit. They have also constructed a ‘bug hotel’ to attract insects, as well as a log-pile designed to attract beetles. The play areas are now well on the way to being the edible garden we told you about back in the autumn. Watch this space to find out how what we grow will taste!
